INDOOR HOCKEY
Indoor Hockey is a version of hockey which is usually played indoor. It can be played on any hard, smooth and flat services and isusually played in a sport hall or similar venue
Apart from being played indoors the main difference between indoor hockey and outdoor or field hockey are
- there are only six players per team
- the playing area is much smaller
- the goals are slightly smaller
- the duration of the game is shorts
- the ball may be pushed and not hit
- the ball may only be played along the ground
- indoor pitches have side-board along both side-lines which keep the ball in play
